The DGCA ATPL Ground Classes are systematically structured into theoretical and practical components. Eligibility Requirements
Age
Minimum age of 21 years.
Academic Background
10+2 education with Physics, English, and Mathematics (or equivalent from NIOS).
Fitness
Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (issued by a recognized aviation authority)
Language Proficiency
Fluent in English (ICAO Level 4 or above).
License
A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR) and a Flight Radio Telephone Operators Licence (FRTOL).
Flying Hours
A minimum of 1,500 flying hours and more (preferably) and a previous flying experience within the last five years.
