Syllabus Breakdown

The DGCA ATPL Ground Classes are systematically structured into theoretical and practical components. The theoretical segment includes engaging lectures, tutorials, and practice-oriented sessions, while the practical portion immerses students in advanced flight simulation exercises. Topics covered span critical areas such as flight instruments, aircraft performance, air traffic control protocols, human factors, and navigation techniques, ensuring a holistic preparation for airline transport operations.

Eligibility Requirements

Age

Minimum age of 21 years.

Academic Background

10+2 education with Physics, English, and Mathematics (or equivalent from NIOS).

Fitness

Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (issued by a recognized aviation authority)

Language Proficiency

Fluent in English (ICAO Level 4 or above).

License

A valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (ME-IR) and a Flight Radio Telephone Operators Licence (FRTOL).

Flying Hours

A minimum of 1,500 flying hours and more (preferably) and a previous flying experience within the last five years.
