1. Ground School
No two days are ever the same in the cockpit.
2. Simulated Training
Practice flying in high-tech simulators that replicate real-world conditions where you learn to handle adverse weather, system failures, and other critical situations safely and confidently.
3. Single-Engine Flight Training
Learn the art of takeoffs, landings, navigation, and communication with air traffic control and seasoned instructors on a single-engine aircraft.
4. Instrument Rating (IR)
Develop advanced techniques that ensure safety and efficiency during challenging flights. With IR, you obtain the skills to navigate and fly using instruments in low-visibility conditions.
5. Multi-Engine Rating (ME)
Transition to multi-engine planes and learn the complexities of operating larger aircraft to improve your speed, maneuverability, and decision-making for airline-standard performance.
6. Flight Hours
Accumulate extensive flying hours across various terrains, weather conditions, and airspaces. In this stage, you also transition to gain confidence to plan and execute cross-country flights independently.
7. Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Certification
Complete the required training hours (250 hours in India), pass the DGCA exams, and earn your CPL, making you industry-ready. Graduate as a certified commercial pilot, equipped to work with airlines, cargo operators, or private charters.
8. Additional Certifications (Optional)
You can do Type Rating to specialise in operating specific big jet aircraft like Boeing or Airbus models, opening doors to commercial airline careers. After which, you can complete your ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) to be eligible to become the Commander/Captain of the aircraft, the highest rank one can hold as a pilot.
Eligibility Requirements
Age
Minimum 17 years at the time of course commencement.
Education
10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English (or equivalent).
Medical Fitness
Class 1 medical certification by an approved DGCA medical examiner.
