At Pioneer Flying Academy, we provide a comprehensive 18-20 month integrated training program for aspiring commercial pilots. Our curriculum seamlessly combines Ground Classes and Flying Training, ensuring a holistic approach to pilot education. The program is DGCA-approved, adhering strictly to the syllabus and requirements necessary to obtain a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine Rating (ME) and Instrument Rating (IR).

This rigorous course encompasses theory sessions, flight skill tests, and practical flying to meet the DGCA’s competency standards. By the end of this program, students are equipped to earn their CPL and unlock exciting career opportunities in Commercial Airlines or General Aviation.

Syllabus Breakdown

Ground Classes

Our ground school prepares students with 360 hours of intensive theory classes, led by expert instructors. The focus is to provide an in-depth understanding of aircraft systems and aviation principles. The syllabus, approved by the DGCA, ensures a strong foundation in aviation concepts, covering key areas such as: 

Flying Training

Flying sessions take place at Aligarh Airfield, Uttar Pradesh, using our state-of-the-art fleet, including the Cessna 172, Cessna 152, Diamond DA40, and P68 (multi-engine) aircraft. This phase emphasises on: 

Training also includes advanced simulator practice using the in-house simulator. Students complete 185 hours of single-engine flight training, followed by 15 hours of multi-engine training, gaining proficiency in multi-crew operations, complex aircraft maneuvers, and asymmetric handling.

Eligibility Requirements

Age

Minimum age of 17 years.

Academic Background

10+2 education with Physics, English, and Mathematics (or equivalent from NIOS).

Fitness

Class 2 Medical fitness certification and later a Class 1 Medical before starting your flying training from a DGCA-authorised doctor.

Language Proficiency

Fluent in English (spoken and written).
